The Wild, Wild, Word Show
An extravaganza
of mime, rhyme, rhythm, and song, intriguing story ballads, fast paced
clownery, goofy mnemonic devices for learning body percussion and the
playing of bones, earfuls of rhythmic verse, handfuls of fundamentals
on spoons as percussion, spoons in the construction of peanut butter
and jelly sandwiches, spoons as martial art, anecdotal instructions
on how one might hold onto the inspiration of new musical ideas while
facing down the fearsome advances of neighborhood attack dogs... All
of this is interspersed with original hammer dulcimer music.The Wild,
Wild, Word Show leaves audiences with a new appreciation for the making
of music and the music of words.
